I created this account on 08/28/2026 and the metrics shown above are until 09/21/2026. During this 25-day period I gained over 1700 followers and received 350K+ video views. This averages to approximately 70 new followers and 14K views per day.
This is an older account where I learned how to make my content more engaging for my target audience. After posting 5 consecutive educational videos on quantum mechanics this account gained over 2k followers.
Why it works:
Scroll Stopper: Head explosion within the first 1s.
Concept Clarity: This video will have cool effects and a story.
Curiosity Gap: Who doesn't want to know what time wizard hunting entails? And...what even is a time wizard?
Call to Action: Viewers are told there is a secret message for them, encouraging them to rewatch the video
Why it works:
Scroll Stopper: Multiple clones of me plummet and disappear into my couch within 1s.
Concept Clarity: The main question of the video is stated within the first 3s of the video (the ideal window, especially for longer explainer content).
Curiosity Gap: "Why does reality change when we measure it?"
Concept Cohesion: The clone effect used reflects the video topic. "Just how you don't know which clone is the real me until...the same thing happens in quantum physics. This gives a visual anchor.
Video Quality: Notice it's not perfect but that this video received 500k+ regardless. Nicer cameras and nicer equipment will never beat understanding your target audience.
Why it works:
Scroll Stopper: There is a TON of visual interest in the first 3 seconds.
Concept Clarity: The video payoff and biggest moment of the video is frontloaded, so viewers know to expect it coming. The format also cleanly establishes this is a before-and-after video.
Curiosity Gap: How different is the before and after? Is it actually impressive? When will that first scene come up again?
My Twist on the Trend: The Grimace Shake was original released by McDonald's in 2023 as a limited-time menu option in celebration for Grimace's birthday. Utilizing VFX I was able to recreate the iconic drink cup and revive the trend by drinking the last remaining Grimace Shake.
Why it works:
Scroll Stopper: Same winning idea, within the first couple of seconds, something interesting happens visually. In this case, I teleport through the wall and become a pile of clothes.
Concept Clarity: This guy is probably going to talk about something weird in physics.
Curiosity Gap: Why does he think physics is gaslighting him? How did he manage to do that effect?

Why it works:
Scroll Stopper: I am entirely invisible as soon as the video begins. This effect was chosen as the first second since it was ranked highest in what viewers wanted to see in a previous social media poll I conducted.
Concept Clarity: Both visually and through what I am saying viewers understand this video will include a lot of cool effects.
Curiosity Gap: What effects is he going to do? What effect next? What is the biggest problem of his lifetime?
Looping: Videos that seamlessly loop will always have higher retention since viewers are more likely to watch the first couple of seconds again.

Industry standard editing and color grading software. DaVinci Resolve Studio has everything I need inside of one application. From VFX to audio engineering, this is my software of choice.
This microphone is portable, I've never had an issue with the audio, it takes less than a second to setup, it's non-intrusive and not very noticeable during filming, and everyone I've made content with and for has been comfortable wearing one.
Yes, that's right. I use a smartphone to film the majority of my content. Depending on how I color grade I can achieve a professional industry style look or a more native social media look.
